EMAIL / MIGRATION

Move the mail, preserve the working day

Move your email without losing the history behind it.

We plan and execute mailbox migrations with the records, users and cutover sequence treated as one system—not a last-minute data copy.

  • Planned cutover
  • Mailbox continuity
  • Post-move checks

WHEN THIS FITS

Start with the situation you recognise.

01

You are changing email providers

Move mailboxes and the supporting domain configuration without creating avoidable downtime.

02

A merger or rebrand has changed the environment

Consolidate users, domains and mail history into a clearly owned destination.

03

A previous migration stalled or left gaps

Audit what moved, what did not and which routing or identity settings still point at the old platform.

A complete scope, without the mystery.

Migration work is mostly risk management. We inventory the source, define the destination and control the point where new mail changes direction.

  • Source and destination assessment
  • Mailbox, alias and group inventory
  • Email, calendar and contact migration
  • Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace moves
  • Zoho and standards-based IMAP migrations
  • Domain verification and DNS preparation
  • Cutover and coexistence planning
  • Post-migration delivery and access testing

THE WORK

Four stages. One visible line of responsibility.

  1. 01

    Define the outcome

We confirm what success means, what is in scope and which systems or people are affected.

  2. 02

    Inspect the current state

We review the available evidence, dependencies and access before making a material change.

  3. 03

    Implement deliberately

Approved work is completed in a controlled sequence, with backups or rollback steps where appropriate.

  4. 04

    Verify and hand over

We check the agreed result and document the ownership, remaining risks and next actions.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Useful outputs, not a vague “done”.

01

A migration map

Users, data types, routing dependencies and the cutover sequence documented before the move.

02

Controlled implementation

Mailbox data and domain records moved according to the agreed window and scope.

03

Verification evidence

Access, inbound mail, outbound mail and agreed data checks completed after cutover.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What to know before we begin.

Can you migrate from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365?

Yes. We can scope email, calendars, contacts and the domain cutover according to the users and data involved.

Will email stop working during the migration?

The objective is to minimise disruption through preparation and controlled DNS changes. The exact risk and cutover window depend on the source and destination systems.

Can old email folders be preserved?

Usually, yes. We confirm supported data types and any platform limitations before the migration begins.

Do you migrate one mailbox or entire teams?

Both. The plan changes with mailbox count, data volume, shared resources and the amount of coordination required.
